In the article "Computers as Aids in the Prevention and Remediation of Reading Disabilities," it provides examples of how to use computer-assisted instruction to help students with reading disability and make them read effectively. This instructional model can help these disability students to understand their needs and they can require accurate and fluent word identification skills. In order to do this, this theory provides a phonological based instruction for students to learn reading and they focus on alphabetic reading skills first.
